G10 Tech Class #18

We will continue working on Investigate stage for Project 2.

Please visit last classes' blog posts: G10 Tech Class #16 and G10 Tech Class #17 to review the Project's overview, dynamic and more.

Based on our class discussion, please take these into account for your Investigation assignment:
  • who would the audience be?
  • what would they expect to get from the tour?
  • what stops/places are we looking into listing in our tour? why?
  • what are the highlights of WA that you think should be included in the tour?
  • Different kinds of presentations used in digital supported tours
  • What are QR codes?
  • How QR codes bring Museum tours to life (Article)
  • Cook Children's Hospital pioneers in using bar codes for vaccines (Article)
  • what application/tool do you think best suits your needs: website, video, animation, voicethread, animated comic, web book, etc?
  • If you choose the product to be a movie: what kind of movie should it be? (Documentary, informercial, etc)
  • How will you build a 3D map of the school and a close up on your groups' tour stop

Carefully define your product design specifications. Investigation is due today. Look at Due Dates for Project 2 and plan accordingly.

Today we will have a Guest Speaker: Junior Student - Jordan Lee that will share with us Movie making tips. Friday another Guest Speaker will talk about Google Sketchpad 3D Map creating. Exciting!
Don't forget to enter your progress today in your Process Journal!
